July was a really exciting month. For those of you who don’t know, I booked flights to finally go visit family in Iraq. Sadly, the Covid situation is really awful there but we are hoping for the best. Before you judge, I will write a detailed post about why now!

Extra Side Hustle Income Report
Last month, I didn’t keep track of any side hustle income. Sadly, eBay blocked my seller account without even telling me the reason behind their decision and refusing to pay my last sales which are around $400.
This month, I received below side incomes:

When it comes to Cryptocurrency, I had another approved referral to Celsius Network which made me $40 USD in Bitcoins. I took advantage of Celsius special offer (Expired) and received $650 in Bitcoins which is currently locked for 90 days. I will report this amount when it is unlocked in September.

Current Non-Chequing Accounts
Gladly, I did most of the cleaning up already and not much left till some of my GICs maturity in April 2022. The only major change is that I got a fantastic $20,000 personal Line of Credit with 1.99% interest for the fist 90 days then 2.45%.
I used $3,000 to purchase $TCAD in Crypto.com which is now earning 10% (Will be 12% soon). Using the power of leverage is really exciting. Paying 2.45% to making 12%. Deduct the income tax and I am still making money from my loans.
I will write a review about Crypto.com but I am in LOVE! 8% for flexible earn or 10-12% for 1 or 3 months plans. I also applied for Crypto.com credit card and in 2-3 months I will have unlimited lounge access, covered Spotify and Netflix, and 3% cashback in $CRO on 90% of my purchases.
Honestly, CeFi (Centralized Finance) is as awesome as DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and both are making TraFi (Traditional Finance) looks so ugly (For now at least)!

I realized that my wife’s TFSA and kids’ RESP accounts aren’t maximized. This is something I should work on in the upcoming months. For now, I won’t be adding any more money to our accounts as the upcoming trip will cost us around $12,000 – $15,000. A last minute unexpected at all booking!
Current Net Worth & $8,261 MoM Liquid Net Worth Increase
Our Net Worth grew to $374,841 by July 1st, 2021. This is a $8,261 or 2.25% MoM increase. A good portion of the increase came from the market appreciation with the rest from my 9-5 income and other incomes.
Looking at the chart, I love how we were blessed to increase it by 32% Year over Year (YoY) or $91,510.
Dividends & Savings Accounts Income
Since January 2021, I started calculating our income from dividends and savings accounts. You can also find my previous monthly Money Reports here.
I will not report detailed stock or ETF income here till it becomes more meaningful which will be Q1 2022. However, if you follow my journey on Twitter, I post whenever some interesting dividends land in my account.
Here are the numbers for 2021. Total 2021 income is $4,717.16. My goal for 2021 is to reach an average $1,000 monthly income. Currently, the average is $673.86. Five more months to go!

Cryptocurrency Income
I am earning Cryptocurrency and Stablecoins income from 4 channels which are Nexo Exchange, Cake DeFi, Celsius Network, and my newest addition Crypto.com.

The only major change this month is the purchase of more $TCAD and $CRO.
My holdings are 70% Stablecoins ($TCAD and $USDC) which track CAD and US Dollars and not impacted by any Crypto fluctuation. The rest are Cryptocurrencies like $MATIC, $BTC (Bitcoin), $ETH (Ether), $DFI (DeFi Coin), $CEL (Celsius), $NEXO (Nexo), $BCH (Bitcoin Cash), $CRO (Crypto).
Don’t laugh but I recently discovered a new feature which is called Supercharger. I put my extra $CRO there and received 46,000 $SHIB tokens. They worth less than $1 in total so it is more like a game to see what happens with these useless meme token!

Calculating income and converting to Canadian Dollar is a bit time consuming but with the help of Excel, everything is smooth and simplified now.
Last month, I was only $281.88 or 0.78% in green for my Crypto investments. However, as of the time of writing, I am $1,232.77 or 3.01% up for my Crypto investment.
Liquid Net Worth and Income Update Summary
To summarize, I made $480 in side hustle income in July. However, I had a sweet increase in my dividend and other savings income comparing with previous months. I am moving forward with my cryptocurrency investment and ditching traditional banking systems especially for emergency funds.
My dividend income will keep growing along my Cryptocurrency income every month and I hope by the end of this year, my income from these sources surpass an average $1,000 monthly.
