A new month and a new exciting Liquid Net Worth and Income Update! I reported my first cryptocurrency income in my May 2021 Monthly Report.

June was another busy month where I finally could have some great progress in my financial cleaning up process. Feel free to read more about my journey from the beginning and how we started from zero just years ago by reading my post here.

Extra Side Hustle Income Report (UNKNOWN)
True! I don’t really know how much I made from side hustle income in June. Please don’t yell! I was busy and didn’t keep track of my other income. Also, there was nothing extraordinary in June worth mentioning. I acknowledge, this is a setback but my focus wasn’t on referrals.
Similar to May, My eBay business didn’t make an income in June sadly. However, I sold 2 more items by end of June which hopefully will receive the sale income in July.

Current Non-Chequing Accounts
There have been some fantastic moves on my non-chequing accounts which are:
- Girl A & B’s RESP is now completely in Questrade Robo account
- My RRSP and TFSA accounts are now completely in Wealthsimple Trade. I had some portion inside Questwealth which are now moved to WS. Amazingly, Wealthsimple covered the ridiculous transfer fees ($173 per account) charged by Questrade.
- I am ditching HISA. My new emergency fund is $TCAD (True Canadian Dollar) inside Crypto.com.
I will write a review about Crypto.com but I am in LOVE! 8% for flexible earn or 10-12% for 1 or 3 months plans. I also applied for Crypto.com credit card and in 2-3 months I will have unlimited lounge access, covered Spotify and Netflix, and 3% cashback in $CRO on 90% of my purchases.
Honestly, CeFi (Centralized Finance) is as awesome as DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and both are making TraFi (Traditional Finance) looks so ugly (For now at least)!

As you see, there is a new addition to the chart, Cryptocurrency. This will keep growing but I will be very transparent with my reporting which I think what you are interested in seeing.
Current Net Worth & $8,696.18 MoM Liquid Net Worth Increase
Our Net Worth grew to $366580.21 by July 1st, 2021. This is a $8,696.18 or 2.43% MoM increase. A good portion of the increase came from the market appreciation with the rest from my 9-5 income and other incomes savings.
Looking at the chart, I love how we were blessed to increase it by 31% Year over Year (YoY) or $87,065.

Since January 2021, I started calculating our income from dividends and savings accounts. You can also find my previous monthly Money Reports here.
I will not report detailed stock or ETF income here till it becomes more meaningful which will be Q1 2022. However, if you follow my journey on Twitter, I post whenever some interesting dividends land in my account.

Here are the numbers for 2021. Total 2021 income is sitting at $3,304.72 and I am on track to reach my goal of $1000 passive income. Currently, my average monthly income is $550. Six more months to go!

My current annual dividend yield is 4.53%. This number will fluctuate as I keep progressing toward direct market investment.
Cryptocurrency Income
I am earning Cryptocurrency and Stablecoins income from 4 channels which are Nexo Exchange, Cake DeFi, Celsius Network, and my newest addition Crypto.com.
Here is a screenshot of the promotions I received by investing $600 USD in Celsius.
I swapped my $DAI and $USDT (Tether) with $CRO to stake for the Crypto Visa Debit card. I also bought more $CRO tokens and planning to increase my investment to $5000 to get the higher tier credit card.
My holdings are 70% Stablecoins ($TCAD and $USDC) which track CAD and US Dollars and not impacted by any Crypto craziness. The rest are Cryptocurrencies like $MATIC, $BTC (Bitcoin), $ETH (Ether), $DFI (DeFi Coin), $CEL (Celsius), $NEXO (Nexo), $BCH (Bitcoin Cash), $CRO (Crypto).
Don’t laugh but I recently discovered a new feature which is called Supercharger. I put my extra $CRO there and received 46,000 $SHIB tokens. They worth less than $1 in total so it is more like a game to see what happens with these useless meme token!
I am currently $281.88 or 0.78% in green for my Crypto investments. Don’t forget that I started at the worst possible time so this could have been a lot worse. I feel lucky.
Liquid Net Worth and Income Update Summary
To summarize, I didn’t count my side hustle income in June. However, I had a sweet increase in my dividend and other savings income comparing with previous months. I am moving forward with my cryptocurrency investment and ditching traditional banking systems.
My dividend income will keep growing along my Cryptocurrency income every month and I hope by the end of this year, my income from these sources surpass $1000 monthly.

Thank you! Appreciate your kind words. Cryptocurrency is a risky game but it is risk versus reward. Also, most of my holdings are in Stablecoins which are same as holding USD or CAD but instead of 1.25% interest rate in EQ, I get 8.88-12% interest so it is a win. Of course, there is a risk as there is no CDIC insurance.
BTW, Mrs. Dreamer was upgraded to wife from girlfriend since 2008 🙂
