Hello Friends! I am really excited to be back. I know that I might have failed some of you, my great readers, by kind of disappearing for 2 months but those of you who follow me on Twitter or read my July report are aware of the reason.
I am still abroad traveling but I promised myself to publish this post today so after getting 3 hours sleep, I woke up at 5:30 AM local time to get it done. I am going to post more about our so far amazing adventure through 3 countries in near future so stay tuned for that.
Traveling hasn’t been cheap even though we try to save as much as we can to enjoy more traveling. Have you ever seen anyone making their own tea in an airport? Well, there goes the first of kind. Those bottled waters were in the fridge of our accommodation.

Unfortunately, I missed doing my typical report for August but I am glad to see a small increase in our net worth for September despite the huge spending on flights, rental cars, accommodations, and attractions. I’d say meals have been the least expensive category during our vacation so far.

Extra Side Hustle Income Report – $1184.51
If you recall, I complained about eBay which blocked my seller account without giving explanation about their final decision! However, after 2 months of waiting I got paid for my last sale which went in my Tangerine (Referral: 43640010S1) account rather than PayPal.
September hustle income wasn’t too exciting but still decent. I should also mention that I got a full refund on my brand new Google Pixel 4a to my Amazon cart because its delivery was delayed by a week.
I don’t know if this is normal practice by Amazon but they kept they advertised promise. The delay wasn’t due to some unforeseen or out of control postal issues so they honored it.

Current Non-Chequing Accounts
If you read my July report, you know that I got a $20,000 personal Line of Credit with 2.45%. I used some of that fund to earn Crypto interest. Basically leveraging $7K to receive 12% interest while paying 2.45%. However, I paid off all the loan till I return to Canada and get back on track with our savings.
I will write a review about Crypto.com but I am in LOVE! 8% for flexible earn or 10-12% for 1 or 3 months plans. I also applied for Crypto.com credit card which I hope is waiting for me in my mail box now.
This card gives me unlimited lounge access, covered Spotify and Netflix, and 3% cashback in $CRO on 90% of my purchases.
Honestly, CeFi (Centralized Finance) is as awesome as DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and both are making TraFi (Traditional Finance) looks so ugly (For now at least)!

Market has been going down lately and I didn’t move a cent to our savings in the past 2 months so the trading accounts numbers are mostly down in comparison to July / August.
However, thanks for the great Crypto recovery, my total balance is still up regardless of the downtrend. This shows the power of diversification.

I realized that my wife’s TFSA and kids’ RESP accounts aren’t maximized. This is something I should work on in the upcoming months. For now, I won’t be adding any more money to our accounts until our return to Canada.
Current Net Worth & $3,539 Liquid Net Worth Increase
Our Net Worth grew to $386,523 by Oct 1st, 2021. This is a $3,539 increase since my last accurate report in Aug 1st. I am really surprised that our net worth increased despite our $12K spending on vacation so far.
Hopefully, I will be able to move some money to our investment accounts soon. I am still thankful for the dividends that I could reinvest by buying shares here and there.
Looking at the chart, I love how we were blessed to increase it by 29% Year over Year (YoY) or $86,830. Do you think we can reach the $400K milestone soon? I hope so.
Dividends & Savings Accounts Income
Since January 2021, I started calculating our income from dividends and savings accounts. You can also find my previous monthly Money Reports here.
I will not report detailed stock or ETF income here till it becomes more meaningful which will be Q1 2022. However, if you follow my journey on Twitter, I post whenever some interesting dividends land in my account.
Here are the numbers for 2021. Total 2021 income is $6,499.32. My goal for 2021 is to reach an average $1,000 monthly income. Currently, the average is $722.15 which is a nice increase compared with July’s average of $673.86. Three more months to go!
I hope my Stabelcoins (USDC and TCAD) investment starts generating $500 monthly. In addition, I have a GIC payout to bring up the average even more next month.

Cryptocurrency Income
I am earning Cryptocurrency and Stablecoins income from 4 channels which are Nexo Exchange, Cake DeFi, Celsius Network, and my newest addition Crypto.com.
I didn’t use any new money to purchase any kind of digital assets during Aug and September. However, I converted some $TCAD and $USDC to diversify and unsuccessfully get another promotion from Celsius.
My holdings are 70% Stablecoins ($TCAD and $USDC) which track CAD and US Dollars and not impacted by any Crypto fluctuation. The rest are Cryptocurrencies like $MATIC, $BTC (Bitcoin), $ETH (Ether), $DFI (DeFi Coin), $CEL (Celsius), $NEXO (Nexo), $BCH (Bitcoin Cash), $CRO (Crypto).
Don’t laugh but my best performing Crypto was $SHIB which I received by using Crypto.com’s Supercharger feature and planning to sell soon! More details to follow.

Calculating income and converting to Canadian Dollar is a bit time consuming but with the help of Excel, everything is smooth and simplified now.
Last month, I was up $4,133.34 or 10.08% for my Crypto investments. Crypto can’t be predicted so the amazing looking green table above might be all red next month! It is a long term plan.
Liquid Net Worth and Income Update Summary
To summarize, I made $1184.51 in side hustle income in September. I also had $955.38 income from other sources like Dividends, HISA, and Crypto Earnings. I am moving forward with my cryptocurrency investment and ditching traditional banking systems especially for emergency funds.
My dividend income will keep growing along my Cryptocurrency income every month and I hope by the end of this year, my income from these sources surpass an average $1,000 monthly. Next month shall be a really interesting month.
