December was another great month for making extra income from dividends and hustling around despite the market craziness. The best part of this income is that it got generated while I was visiting one of the most amazing active Lava volcanos in the world.
For those of you who don’t know, I returned from Belize and Guatemala on Oct 2nd but then traveled to Bahamas and Jamaica which were the last 2 Caribbean islands I haven’t been by the end of Oct.
I then ended up in my last Central American country, Nicaragua in Dec 2022 which is why I couldn’t post an income update for Nov 2022.
In total, I spent around $5000 for these trips which I am happy to say they were all covered with the extra income I made during the last 3 months.
I decided to stop reporting my liquid net worth numbers regularly. However, as this is the last month of the year, I decided to sum up the numbers for an update. Sadly, the number isn’t encouraging at all.
Passive income number is the golden number to always pay attention to!
Extra Side Hustle Income Report $0
I was really busy during December so didn’t have time to focus on any side hustle income. Hence, I am reporting Dec 2022 side hustle income as $0.

Liquid Networth Update as Of Dec 31, 2022
My total liquid invested networth as of Dec 31, 2022 was $371,082.79. I am far behind my goal for 2022 but that’s what market does I suppose. It takes you all the way up and hopeful (2021) then back where it all started (2022).
It is worth noting that my Crypto investment is now below $10,000 as I withdrew most of my money which was generating income in this space. What I have left is in Crypto.com as I enjoy the Visa credit card which gives me unlimited Airport Lounge access globally.

I received a total of $1,034.87 from dividends while $68.22 came from my tiny Crypto portfolio. My savings account generated $65 in interests.
The total $1,168.36 in passive income is equivalent to making $6.74 hourly as a full-time employee. This amount covers our monthly grocery, phone, internet, and hydro bills.
The dividend earning is a great 17.5% growth in comparison with Dec 2021 earnings which is amazing to say the least.
Below is the list of who paid me in Dec 2022.
The top 3 payers of Dec 2022 were $MFC, $PPL, and $ENB which counted for 25.3% of the total dividends income I received.
I report my purchases whenever happens on my Twitter account. I am not really keeping a detailed track of these purchases as I love dollar-cost averaging while taking advantage of Wealthsimple’s no-fee trading.
Hustle, Dividends, and Passive Income Update Summary
To summarize, I had $1,168 income from different passive sources.
My average passive income is 55% higher than my $1200 monthly 2022 goal 🤑
